Back to Stories Index

Paul Harvey told a story today that comes from British Columbia. Last year a brown fox limped out of the woods on three legs up to a farm house. It was so exhausted that it could not dig a burrow or find food. The woman who lived on the farm fed the fox and nursed it back to health. She reported that the fox was very friendly and . One day after the fox returned to health, it left the farm and went back into the woods. The fox wasn't seen again - until recently. One day this summer the fox returned. It came out of the woods leading a silver fox. The silver fox was limping on three legs and looked very weak. He led the silver fox up to the farm house and, when the farm woman came out and greeted them, the brown fox left and went back into the woods. The woman is nursing the silver fox back to health now.
