Patient Updates

Every day new patients arrive at our facility. In an effort to tell their story of survival and highlight the diverse number of species that we rehabilitate, we highlight a new patient each week. Some of these are individuals, others are orphaned siblings. As their cases progress - we will update the outcome - our hope is that many, many of these patients are released!

American Kestrel - update

The kestrel that had to have surgery for a broken wing is improving, and has been moved outside for acclimation and conditioning. The pins came out and we will have to see how she does outside flying around. (Sorry the one photo is kind of blurry - did not want to disturb her too much - but, you can see those adorable legs!) Status - pending. Unfortunately, she is non-releasable, but will be suitable for an educational placement. We are looking for a permanent program.
