Patient Updates

Every day new patients arrive at our facility. In an effort to tell their story of survival and highlight the diverse number of species that we rehabilitate, we highlight a new patient each week. Some of these are individuals, others are orphaned siblings. As their cases progress - we will update the outcome - our hope is that many, many of these patients are released!

Coyote pup

This little coyote pup came to us from Whatcom county. He is our first pup of the season, and was found alone wandering on a road.

Our interns (Catie and Shelby) are excited to add this species to their rehabilitation experience this summer. They helped get him bathed and settled in for his stay with us. He did NOT enjoy his bath, and definitely is not interested in being in our care. We have had as many as 13 coyotes pups during a baby season. Too soon to tell how many we will have this year.

Status: released.
