Patient Profiles
Every day new patients arrive at our facility. We see over 3,000 patients annually. Over 135 different species come to us for care. In an effort to tell their stories of survival and highlight the diverse number of species that we rehabilitate, we try to share some of their stories here. You can also see posts on our social media pages.

Entangled Owl
This Great Horned owl was discovered early this morning caught in the netting of a batting cage. Staff at the high school in Lake Stevens reported the situation and our staff arrived to rescue the owl. She was taken to the wildlife hospital to be examined. Fortunately, she was found to be healthy and free of any injuries. She was able to be released late this afternoon back into her territory! Status: Released
