Patient Updates

Every day new patients arrive at our facility. In an effort to tell their story of survival and highlight the diverse number of species that we rehabilitate, we highlight a new patient each week. Some of these are individuals, others are orphaned siblings. As their cases progress - we will update the outcome - our hope is that many, many of these patients are released!

This coyote came to us as a transfer from Puget Sound WildCare in Kent. He is being treated for mange and was thin, basically failing to thrive.

Photo 1 was taken at intake when he arrived at our center.

Photo 2 was taken today. If you look closely you can see him resting his head on something. It is the head of a stuffed animal we provided to him for some company and enrichment. He decided to tear it apart, limb from limb. But, he took the head in his crate to use as a pillow. Status - released.
