Patient Updates

Every day new patients arrive at our facility. In an effort to tell their story of survival and highlight the diverse number of species that we rehabilitate, we highlight a new patient each week. Some of these are individuals, others are orphaned siblings. As their cases progress - we will update the outcome - our hope is that many, many of these patients are released!

Orphaned American Crow

By Sarvey Wildlife / Monday, May 28, 2018 /

This poor guy was being attacked by some kids who were kicking dirt at him. He was rescued and brought to us for care. Juvenile crows live on the ground for a while before they can fly and the parents continue to care for them. No idea what happened to his family but he clearly needed help. Notice his blue eyes? This indicates he is a fledgling. He is in the baby bird nursery and has two new siblings. Status: released.
