Patient Profiles
Every day new patients arrive at our facility. We see over 3,000 patients annually. Over 135 different species come to us for care. In an effort to tell their stories of survival and highlight the diverse number of species that we rehabilitate, we try to share some of their stories here. You can also see posts on our social media pages.

Beaver Attacked By Eagle
We had a call about a beaver that was out of the water just laying on a path. We sent our rehabilitation staff to see what was happening. She was rescued and brought in for care. Eagle feathers were found on the ground at the scene and her injuries and puncture wounds indicate she was attacked by an eagle. Clearly she was too big for the eagle! We flushed her wounds and she is on medication to prevent infection. Status: Released
