Patient Profiles
Every day new patients arrive at our facility. We see over 3,000 patients annually. Over 135 different species come to us for care. In an effort to tell their stories of survival and highlight the diverse number of species that we rehabilitate, we try to share some of their stories here. You can also see posts on our social media pages.

Orphaned Eurasian Collared Doves
These two babies were found alone having come off an apartment building with no nest or parents in sight. They were hungry but otherwise healthy. They will be here until they are flying and can survive on their own. Status: Euthanized. Sadly, they were both found to be unable to stand and progressively got worse over time. Genetic issues were contributing factors in their failure to thrive.
