Patient Updates
Every day new patients arrive at our facility. In an effort to tell their story of survival and highlight the diverse number of species that we rehabilitate, we highlight a new patient each week. Some of these are individuals, others are orphaned siblings. As their cases progress - we will update the outcome - our hope is that many, many of these patients are released!

Orphaned Eastern Cottontails
Baby season is picking up. This is one of 10 orphaned rabbits in our mammal nursery. We will receive hundreds over the coming months. They require skilled professional care by our licensed staff. Each is tube fed a special formula and once they are weaned, we introduce them to a natural diet similar to what they will find in the wild. Please do not attempt to care for these sensitive animals yourself. Keep them warm and in a quiet, dark environment and bring them in immediately. Status: Released
