Patient Updates
Every day new patients arrive at our facility. In an effort to tell their story of survival and highlight the diverse number of species that we rehabilitate, we highlight a new patient each week. Some of these are individuals, others are orphaned siblings. As their cases progress - we will update the outcome - our hope is that many, many of these patients are released!

First Fawn
This fawn arrived on Friday and is the first fawn of the season. He is healthy and will be here all summer. We raise between 6 to 12 fawns each year. Sometimes they are true orphans and other times they are mistakenly “kidnapped”. A doe will leave her fawn alone for several hours while she is foraging. Please call us if you have concerns BEFORE rescuing a fawn found sitting alone peacefully. Status: pending
