Patient Updates

Every day new patients arrive at our facility. In an effort to tell their story of survival and highlight the diverse number of species that we rehabilitate, we highlight a new patient each week. Some of these are individuals, others are orphaned siblings. As their cases progress - we will update the outcome - our hope is that many, many of these patients are released!

We have received lots of baby owlets this year. Barred owls, Barn owls, and Great horned owls that had been orphaned or otherwise disturbed from their nests.
They EAT a lot of mice! We are currently spending about $45 a day just on our mice for these orphans. Our recent rodent order was $2444. Year to date, we have spent $8300. just for food for our raptors.

Please consider sponsoring an owlet and making a contribution to help with the cost of feeding one of these adorable baby owls. We currently have 4 Great horned owl babies, 6 Barn owlets, and 2 orphaned Barred owls. Donate hereStatus - released.
