Every day new patients arrive at our facility. We see over 3,000 patients annually. Over 135 different species come to us for care. In an effort to tell their stories of survival and highlight the diverse number of species that we rehabilitate, we try to share some of their stories here. Long- tailed weasel
We believe that this weasel was a victim of rodenticide poisoning. She was discovered by dogs and we were able to confirm that the homeowner and neighbors do use poisons. She is improving and eating well. Status - released.
