Every day new patients arrive at our facility. In an effort to tell their story of survival and highlight the diverse number of species that we rehabilitate, we highlight a new patient each week. Some of these are individuals, others are orphaned siblings. As their cases progress - we will update the outcome - our hope is that many, many of these patients are released!

Common Raven Shot
This beautiful raven was found hopping in the woods behind someone's home and she couldn't fly away. We took radiographs and discovered she had been shot. Her wings were fine, but she does have a fractured femur. She will be having that bone surgically stabilized and we hope she can recover. Status: euthanized. Sadly, the pellet was lodged in the bone and it prevented us from pinning the bone.
