Patient Updates
Every day new patients arrive at our facility. In an effort to tell their story of survival and highlight the diverse number of species that we rehabilitate, we highlight a new patient each week. Some of these are individuals, others are orphaned siblings. As their cases progress - we will update the outcome - our hope is that many, many of these patients are released!

Barred owl hit by car
She was rescued from the Stanwood area by a police officer on 2/8, and then picked up by a WDFW officer and brought to us for help. There was internal bleeding and an injury to one eye. She is doing much better, but still is recovering from some tissue trauma to one wing. It will be a couple weeks more in our ICU and then we can put her on a flight cage to see how she is able to move and fly. Status: released. You can watch video of her release here.
