Patient Updates

Every day new patients arrive at our facility. In an effort to tell their story of survival and highlight the diverse number of species that we rehabilitate, we highlight a new patient each week. Some of these are individuals, others are orphaned siblings. As their cases progress - we will update the outcome - our hope is that many, many of these patients are released!

He was rescued a couple weeks ago by one of our volunteers. It was reported that he couldn’t fly and it was suspected he had a broken wing. During the initial exam we discovered fishing line wrapped around his wing. He had a drooping wing due to the trauma, but no fractures. After a bit of time and rest, he improved and was flying again. Thanks to our volunteer, Kat, for rescuing him and then releasing him today!
