Every day new patients arrive at our facility. We see over 3,000 patients annually. Over 135 different species come to us for care. In an effort to tell their stories of survival and highlight the diverse number of species that we rehabilitate, we try to share some of their stories here. Rough-legged Hawk
She was found near a road and was unable to fly. She was soaking wet from recent storms and has some trauma to her shoulder and an infected toe. We are treating both injuries and hope she will recover. We don’t see these hawks often, but they migrate to our area from the Arctic in the winter. Status: released
