Patient Updates
Every day new patients arrive at our facility. In an effort to tell their story of survival and highlight the diverse number of species that we rehabilitate, we highlight a new patient each week. Some of these are individuals, others are orphaned siblings. As their cases progress - we will update the outcome - our hope is that many, many of these patients are released!

Silver-haired Bat
This was one of the rescues we went on this week. He was disturbed from his hibernation when a wood pile was moved. Our board member, Barb (aka: The Bat Lady) rehabilitates bats solely from her home-based facility. We transferred him to her to join others in her care. He should be just fine and can be released this spring. Status: Transferred
