Patient Updates
Every day new patients arrive at our facility. In an effort to tell their story of survival and highlight the diverse number of species that we rehabilitate, we highlight a new patient each week. Some of these are individuals, others are orphaned siblings. As their cases progress - we will update the outcome - our hope is that many, many of these patients are released!

Double Trouble
Both of these Northern Saw-whet owls found themselves in trouble recently and came in a couple of days apart. One was hit by a car and the other probably flew into a window. We are treating them both for eye injuries. These small owls are often mistaken for babies. They are one of the smaller species of owls in our state. Tiny and fierce! Status: Both released!
