Patient Profiles
Every day new patients arrive at our facility. We see over 3,000 patients annually. Over 135 different species come to us for care. In an effort to tell their stories of survival and highlight the diverse number of species that we rehabilitate, we try to share some of their stories here. Virginia Opossums!
We have opossums of all sizes! The adult was rescued from a dumpster where he was likely injured by a trash truck. The others are orphaned babies in our mammal nursery. Status: Released
