This Northwestern Salamander will be wintering over with us. He was accidentally stepped on and is recovering from some swelling.

We are watching the final hours of 2020 countdown. This has been a year we will all surely never forget. Somehow, we did more with less and just keep going and that is thanks to you. Over 3,000 patients have arrived at our center this year, an increase of 25% over last year.

Patients like this Northern Saw-whet owl are currently in our care. He was hit by a car, but is improving.

Thank you to everyone who contributed recently to our #GivingTuesday fundraising campaign. We set a goal of $30,000 and we reached that goal! We raised just over $31,000 in a single day.

This Mew gull is recovering from a fractured wing.

Isn't he handsome?

Did you know our annual operating budget is $425,000? Preparations for the coming baby season are happening now. We are stocking up on supplies, doing deep cleaning, and working on construction projects as weather allows.

DOSQ 2020

Your donations help us purchase specialized formula and supplies to feed thousands of orphans each baby season.

If you haven’t made a 2020 tax-deductible contribution, you can visit our website today to donate. Thank you again to all of our monthly, quarterly and annual donors. We truly depend on individual donors like you. As we enter 2021, we wish you all a Happy and Healthy New Year!

One of the two bear cubs we rehabilitated and released earlier this year. We are able to provide our patients with necessary medical evaluations like radiographs and lab tests.

Visit our website to see updates on our Patients of the Week blogs and outcomes. There are also still some limited supplies of items in our online gift shop. Our annual holiday ornaments are on sale now, while supplies last.

THANK YOU AND ALL THE BEST FOR THE COMING YEAR
